A Netflix binge list consists of all the TV shows that I watch. This means, anytime I'm on Netflix I'm most likely watching any of the following:
Marvel's Daredevil:
The first in a planned series of shows detailing the Marvel universe, "Daredevil" follows Matt Murdock, attorney by day and vigilante by night. Blinded in an accident as a child, Murdock uses his heightened senses as Daredevil, fighting crime on the streets of New York after the sun goes down. His efforts are not welcomed by powerful businessman Wilson Fisk -- aka Kingpin -- and others whose interests collide with those of Daredevil. Though Murdock's day job portrays a man who believes in the criminal justice system, his alter ego suggests otherwise, as he takes the law into his own hands to protect his Hell's Kitchen neighborhood and the surrounding communities.
House of Cards:
U.S. Rep. Francis Underwood of South Carolina starts out as a ruthless politician seeking revenge in this Netflix original production. Promised the post of Secretary of State in exchange for his support, his efforts help to ensure the election of Garrett Walker to the presidency. But Walker changes his mind before the inauguration, telling Underwood he's too valuable in Congress. Outwardly, Underwood accepts his marching orders, but secretly he and his wife, an environmental activist, make a pact to destroy Walker and his allies
Orange Is The New Black:
Piper Chapman is a public relations executive with a career and a fiance when her past suddenly catches up to her. In her mid-30s she is sentenced to spend time in a minimum-security women's prison in Connecticut for her association with a drug runner 10 years earlier. This Netflix original series is based on the book of the same title. Forced to trade power suits for prison orange, Chapman makes her way through the corrections system and adjusts to life behind bars, making friends with the many eccentric, unusual and unexpected people she meets.
The Office (U.S.):
Clueless Dunder Miffin manager Michael Scott welcomes a documentary crew to observe the office just as he learns that his branch could be downsized.
Sense 8:
Eight strangers around the globe find themselves connected -- first by a violent vision, then by their shared ability to connect with one another's thoughts and actions, and finally by the urgent need to find out what happened and why. Their need to know goes beyond simple curiosity as they pursue answers, a mysterious organization hunts them down, intent on destroying them.
Misfits:
Five juvenile offenders with nothing in common find themselves working together on a community service project, and their differing personalities soon cause sparks to fly. But that's nothing compared to what happens when a freak electrical storm hits town. Shortly thereafter, they find that they are developing superpowers. Paranoid Kelly can now hear the thoughts of others, while Simon, who has always been overlooked, can suddenly make himself invisible. Curtis can turn back time, while Alisha finds that anyone who touches her will lust after her. Nathan, to his chagrin, seems to have suffered no aftereffects of the storm. Now, on top of dealing with the realities of teenage life and finishing their service project, they must figure out how to handle their new abilities and find out just what, if anything, they are expected to do with them.
Pretty Little Liars:
It has been one year since Alison, then the queen bee of the bunch, went missing. Spencer, Aria, Hanna and Emily have gone on with their lives, though they've grown apart. Now in high school, each girl finds herself facing a new set of challenges when anonymous text messages from `A' threaten to expose all of their secrets - both old secrets the girls were sure only Alison knew, and newer secrets developed after Alison's disappearance. Who is `A' and how does he or she know the things he or she knows? `Pretty Little Liars' is based on the series of novels by Sara Shepard.
Merlin:
This action-packed fantasy-drama revisits the saga of King Arthur and his wizard, Merlin, by focusing on the two characters when they were ambitious young men struggling to understand their destinies. In this telling, Prince Arthur is known to be the heir to the throne. And he is acquainted with all those who will one day form the legend of Camelot, including Lancelot, Guinevere, and Morgana. Merlin is also forced to deal with King Uther's Great Purge, which bans all use of magic.
Miranda:
Life isn't easy for Miranda. Whatever she attempts - whether it's dating or dealing with her overbearing mother, to whom Miranda is a constant disappointment - she always seems to fall flat. Miranda is desperate to fit in with her girly friends from boarding school, but that is hard to do as she is 6 feet 1 inches tall and gets called `sir' a bit too often for her liking. One of Miranda's main problems is she doesn't know how to behave around men, which is especially bad because her mother is desperate for her to find a husband. Despite all this, Miranda can be happy - usually while playing games at her joke shop, which is managed by her childhood best friend, Stevie.
The Tomorrow People:
When Stephen Jameson starts hearing voices and teleporting in his sleep, he believes he is going crazy. In desperation, he listened to one of the voices and is led to a group of genetically advanced teens know as the tomorrow people, who are being hunted down by Ultra, a paramilitary group of scientists.
The Originals:
Klaus, the original vampire/werewolf hybrid, returns to New Orleans (which his family helped build) to investigate rumours of a plot against him, in this spin-off of `The Vampire Diaries'. He finds his former protege, Marcel, reigning powerful over its inhabitants, causing growing tension in the supernatural community. Klaus' brother, Elijah, joins him, and they learn that werewolf Hayley has fallen into the hands of a defiant witch who has life-changing information. Klaus and Elijah plan to reclaim the city, and while waiting to see if their last remaining sibling, Rebekah, will leave Mystic Falls to join them, they form an alliance with the witches to help further their cause
American Horror Story:
The show revolves around the Harmons, a family of three, who move from Boston to Los Angeles in order to reconcile past anguish. What the Harmons don't know is that the house they've moved into is haunted. But it's not haunted by Casperesque friendly ghosts - it's haunted by demonic creatures. The creatures have a history of not only spooking the house's residents but also devouring them. After living in this house, family patriarch and psychiatrist, Ben, may need a shrink of his own.
Lost Girl:
Bo is a small-town girl on the run after a disastrous sexual encounter with her boyfriend ends with his death. Bo learns that she is not human, but a succubus, who feeds on the sexual energy of humans. She and her kind are members of the Fae, creatures of legend, who walk among humans and feed off them in different ways. As she searches for the truth about her origins and runs from her inhuman urges, she vows to help those she meets along the way, human or Fae who need to right a wrong.
Person of Interest:
Presumed dead former CIA agent Reese and billionaire software genius Finch join forces as a vigilante crime-fighting team. Using a program that employs pattern recognition to determine individuals who will soon be involved in violent crimes, they are able to combine Reese's covert operations training and Finch's money to stop crimes before they happen. Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson also stars as NYPD homicide detective Carter, who becomes involved in Reese's investigations.
Continuum:
Detective Kiera Cameron is a cop from the year 2077 who was raised to rely on technology more than anything else, even herself. Now she and a group of deadly criminals called Liber8 are trapped in present-day Vancouver. Cameron needs to stop Liber8 before it can take down the corporations which will one day rule the world, thus altering the course of the future and changing the 2077 that Cameron calls home. She enlists the help of a teenage tech genius named Alec Sadler to help figure out a way to get her back to her own time, and she manages to work with the Vancouver Police Department with Detective Carlos Fonnegra to keep an eye on Liber8. With different ideals and backgrounds, Cameron and Fonnegra clash, but they trust each other, and Cameron is slowly learning to trust herself as well.
Heroes:
This groundbreaking sci-fi drama intertwines the stories of a disparate group of people who suddenly discover they possess superhuman abilities.
